A-Cheung est propriétaire du stand de nourriture Ri-Tai à Cheung Chau, ancien village de pêcheurs à Hong Kong, devenu un centre touristique d’importance. Il passe ses journées à jouer avec les habitués avec lesquels il entretient des liens forts qui transcendent les générations. Cependant, les problèmes qui secouent Hong-Kong, les protestations contre la nouvelle loi sur l’extradition et l’arrivée du Covid, ouvrent des brèches dans la cohésion communautaire et vident l’île de ses visiteurs, faisant peser des menaces sur l’avenir de son mode de vie.
A-Cheung owns the Ri-Tai food stall in Cheung Chau, once a fishing village in Hong Kong, which has transformed into a tourist spot. He spends his days playing games with customers, forming bonds that transcend generations. Yet, the tremors shaking Hong Kong, the protests against the new extradition laws and the onset of Covid, create cracks in the fabric of the community, leaving the island deserted and casting uncertainty on the future of this way of life.
Frankie Sin est un réalisateur honkongais de documentaires. Il est diplômé d’un master délivré par le département des Beaux Arts de la National University of Arts de Taiwan. Il a réalisé des courts-métrages comme My Silly Flirty Boys(2020) et The Young Artist (2022). Another Home est son premier long-métrage.
