Huit prix sont décernés aux films sélectionnés dans les trois sections compétitives du festival : Compétition internationale, Cap sur l’environnement, Quand le cinéaste est aussi personnage.
Ces prix sont décernés par les six jurys suivants : Jury international, Jury du Prix Gaïa, Jury Inalco, Jury Convergences Migrations, Jury des Laboratoires de recherche, Jury de détenus de Fleury-Mérogis.
À cela s’ajoute une sélection de films par la Commission Images en Bibliothèque et un Prix du Public.
Eight prizes are awarded to the films selected in the festival’s three competitive sections: International Competition, A Focus on the Environment, and the section “Filmmaker as Protagonist”
These prizes are awarded by the following six juries : the International Jury, the Gaïa Prize Jury, the Inalco Jury, the Convergences Migrations Jury, the Research Teams Jury and the Fleury-Mérogis inmates Jury.
In addition to this, there is a selection of films by the Images in Libraries Commission and an Audience Award.

♦ Grand Prix NANOOK – JEAN ROUCH | NANOOK-JEAN ROUCH Grand Prize (doté par le CNRS, Centre national de la recherche scientifique, 3 000 €).
Le Grand Prix Nanook-Jean Rouch récompense un film de la compétition internationale | The Grand Prix Nanook-Jean Rouch is awarded to a film in the International Competition.
♦ Prix GAÏA | GAÏA Prize (doté par l’IRD, Institut de recherche pour le développement, 1 500 €).
Le Prix Gaïa récompense un film de la Compétition internationale ou de la section Cap sur l’environnement, qui explore les relations des humains avec leur environnement (naturel, animal, non-humain) | The Gaïa Prize is awarded to a film which explores the relationship between humans and their environment (natural, animal, non-human). The film can be in the International Competition or in the section « A Focus on the Environment ».
♦ Prix du PATRIMOINE VIVANT | LIVING HERITAGE Prize (doté par le Département de recherche, valorisation, PCI, délégation à l’inspection, la recherche et l’innovation, ministère de la Culture, 1 500 €).
Le Prix du patrimoine vivant récompense un film de la compétition internationale qui documente les pratiques culturelles que les communautés reconnaissent, transmettent et transforment car ils font sens dans la continuité et la créativité | The Living Heritage Prize is awarded to a film in the international competition that documents the cultural practices that communities recognize, transmit and transform because they embody continuity and creativity.
♦ Prix du PREMIER FILM | FIRST FILM Prize (doté par/supported by: Département de recherche, valorisation, PCI, délégation à l’inspection, la recherche et l’innovation, ministère de la Culture, 1 500 €)
Le Prix du Premier Film récompense un film de la compétition internationale | The First Film Prize is awarded to a film in the international competition.
♦ Prix MONDES EN REGARDS | MONDES EN REGARDS Prize | (doté par l’INALCO, Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales / National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations, 1000 €)
Le Prix Mondes en Regards récompense un film de la Compétition internationale dont la langue et/ou l’aire géographique sont enseignées à l’Inalco |The Mondes en Regards Prize is awarded to a film in the International Competition whose language and/or geographical area is taught at Inalco.
♦ PRIX CONVERGENCES MIGRATIONS | Institut Convergences Migrations (doté par l’ICM, Institut Convergences Migrations, 1 500 €).
Le Prix Convergences Migrations est décerné à un film de la sélection officielle qui explore la thématique des migrations | The Convergences Migrations Prize is awarded to a film from the official selection that explores the theme of migrations.

- IMAGES EN BIBLIOTHEQUES
Composée de bibliothécaires, la Commission nationale d’Images en Bibliothèques sélectionne et valorise des documentaires récents pour une diffusion dans les bibliothèques. Partenaire du Festival international Jean Rouch, la commission retient un ou plusieurs films de la compétition. Ces films seront disponibles dans l’un des trois catalogues partenaires : Catalogue national de la BPI, Images de la Culture du CNC, ADAV. Le ou les films retenus seront annoncés lors de la soirée de remise des prix.
Composed of librarians, the Images en Bibliothèques National Commission selects and promotes recent documentary films for distribution in public libraries. Partner of Jean Rouch International Film Festival, the Commission selects one or more films from the competition, to be distributed through one of following catalogues: Catalogue National de la BPI, Images de la Culture du CNC, ADAV. The selected film(s) will be announced at the Award Ceremony.
